On the Road: Sihanoukville

Cambodia isn't just about temples and tombs it has exquisitely pristine beaches as well. Sihanoukville or also known as Kampong Saom is a port city 4-hours away from Phnom Penh. We took advantage of the 3-day holiday in celebration of King Sihamoni's birthday (May 13-15), and headed southwest to Sihanoukville.

If you've ever been to Boracay (or click here to view my post on it), imagine 5 Boracay-like beach strips all in one city! If you're looking to party or just relax and chill, Sihanuokville has a range of beaches to choose from; from the popular, Occheuteal Beach, to the less commercial, Otres beach, you'll definitely find your own version of paradise whilst there.

The Best Iced Coffee In Phnom Penh: A Khmer Breakfast

Early morning runs at the Riverside have become a routine and I was ecstatic when Hannah invited us to have a hearty Khmer breakfast at Phsar Tuol Tom Pong (Russian Market) afterwards. I remember her and my Uncle raving about the iced coffee there. Quite a number of stalls offer iced coffee, but Mr. Bounnareth's is the best by far. He's been giving both the locals and foreigners the caffeine-jiggles for over 30 years now, and it is truly a must try when in Phnom Penh.
